In what’s sure to be a polarizing
move, given both the financial and intrinsic value of the sneaker, customizer
Mache has created the eye-popping Nike Air Yeezy 2 Givenchy custom.
Inspired by the titular Givenchy,
a high-fashion luxury brand, Mache reworked the black/solar red Yeezy 2 with an
intricate multi-colored floral print, bringing a timeless fashion mainstay to a
shoe that’s anything but traditional.
The mere act of embellishing aYeezy 2 is sure to engender fury among a certain subset of sneakerheads. But
based purely on aesthetics, and ignoring hype and preconceived notions, is this
a good look?
